قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ بَرَكَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا كَانَتْ تَطُوفُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَسَابِيعَ تَقْرِنُ بَيْنَهُنَّ ، ثُمَّ تُصَلِّي لِكُلِّ أُسْبُوعٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ .
It is narrated from the mother of Muhammad bin al-Sa'ib bin Barakah that the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her), would complete three rounds (usbu', each of seven circuits) of tawaf of the House of Allah one after another, joining them to each other; then she (may Allah be pleased with her) would offer two rak'ahs of prayer for each usbu' (one tawaf of seven circuits).
