وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ الْجَعْدِيِّ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ ، أَنَّ مَوْلَاةً لِعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَتْهُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا ، عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللهِ قَالَ : مَنْ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ سَبْعًا ، وَصَلَّى خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، فَهُوَ كَفَكِّ رَقَبَةٍ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs seven circuits of tawaf of the House of Allah and offers two rak'ahs behind the Station of Ibrahim, this deed of his is equal in reward to freeing a slave."
Imam Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili (may Allah have mercy on him) recorded this hadith in his Musnad through the chain of Hudbah bin Khalid; in it the great virtue of the tawaf of the House of Allah and of praying at the Station of Ibrahim is described.
