قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ : حُدِّثْتُ عَنِ ابْنِ إِدْرِيسَ ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ حُدَيْرِ مَوْلًى لِبَنِي عَبْسٍ ، عَنْ مَوْلَى زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا يُقَالُ لَهُ : أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ : بَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَيْتِي إِذْ أَقْبَلَ حُسَيْنٌ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ وَهُوَ غُلَامٌ حَتَّى جَلَسَ عَلَى بَطْنِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَّ وَضَعَ ذَكَرَهُ فِي سُرَّتِهِ ، فَقُمْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ : " إِيتِنِي بِمَاءٍ " ، فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِمَاءٍ فَصَبَّهُ عَلَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " يُغْسَلُ مِنْ بَوْلِ الْجَارِيَةِ ، وَيُصَبُّ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْغُلَامِ " .
وَهُوَ صَحِيحٌ ، وَأَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، وَالنَّسَائِيُّ ، وَالْحَاكِمُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي السَّمْحِ آخِرَهُ بِغَيْرِ هَذَا اللَّفْظِ ، وَالْمَعْنَى وَاحِدٌ .
12 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ حُدَيْرِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْعَبْسِيِّ ، عَنْ مَوْلًى لِزَيْنَبَ أَوْ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَهْلِهِ ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَتْ : بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَيْتِي ، وَحُسَيْنٌ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عِنْدِي حِينَ دَرَجَ فَغَفَلْتُ عَنْهُ ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَجَلَسَ عَلَى بَطْنِهِ فَبَالَ ، فَانْطَلَقْتُ لِآخُذَهُ ، فَاسْتَيْقَظَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " دَعِيهِ " فَتَرَكْتُهُ حَتَّى فَرَغَ ، ثُمَّ دَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَقَالَ : " إِنَّهُ لَيُصَبُّ مِنَ الْغُلَامِ ، وَيُغْسَلُ مِنَ الْجَارِيَةِ ، فَصُبُّوا صَبًّا " .
ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي ، فَلَمَّا قَامَ احْتَضَنَهُ إِلَيْهِ ، فَإِذَا رَكَعَ أَوْ جَلَسَ وَضَعَهُ ، ثُمَّ جَلَسَ يَدْعُو فَبَكَى ، ثُمَّ مَدَّ يَدَهُ . فَقُلْتُ حِينَ قَضَى الصَّلَاةَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ، إِنِّي رَأَيْتُكَ الْيَوْمَ صَنَعْتَ شَيْئًا مَا رَأَيْتُكَ صَنَعْتَهُ ، قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ أَتَانِي فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّ ابْنِي هَذَا تَقْتُلُهُ أُمَّتِي ، فَقُلْتُ : أَرِنِي تُرْبَتَهُ ، فَأَرَانِي تُرْبَتَهُ حَمْرَاءَ " .
وَهُوَ صَحِيحٌ ، وَأَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، وَالنَّسَائِيُّ ، وَالْحَاكِمُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي السَّمْحِ آخِرَهُ بِغَيْرِ هَذَا اللَّفْظِ ، وَالْمَعْنَى وَاحِدٌ .
12 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ حُدَيْرِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْعَبْسِيِّ ، عَنْ مَوْلًى لِزَيْنَبَ أَوْ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَهْلِهِ ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَتْ : بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَيْتِي ، وَحُسَيْنٌ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عِنْدِي حِينَ دَرَجَ فَغَفَلْتُ عَنْهُ ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَجَلَسَ عَلَى بَطْنِهِ فَبَالَ ، فَانْطَلَقْتُ لِآخُذَهُ ، فَاسْتَيْقَظَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " دَعِيهِ " فَتَرَكْتُهُ حَتَّى فَرَغَ ، ثُمَّ دَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَقَالَ : " إِنَّهُ لَيُصَبُّ مِنَ الْغُلَامِ ، وَيُغْسَلُ مِنَ الْجَارِيَةِ ، فَصُبُّوا صَبًّا " .
ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي ، فَلَمَّا قَامَ احْتَضَنَهُ إِلَيْهِ ، فَإِذَا رَكَعَ أَوْ جَلَسَ وَضَعَهُ ، ثُمَّ جَلَسَ يَدْعُو فَبَكَى ، ثُمَّ مَدَّ يَدَهُ . فَقُلْتُ حِينَ قَضَى الصَّلَاةَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ، إِنِّي رَأَيْتُكَ الْيَوْمَ صَنَعْتَ شَيْئًا مَا رَأَيْتُكَ صَنَعْتَهُ ، قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ أَتَانِي فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّ ابْنِي هَذَا تَقْتُلُهُ أُمَّتِي ، فَقُلْتُ : أَرِنِي تُرْبَتَهُ ، فَأَرَانِي تُرْبَتَهُ حَمْرَاءَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Zaynab bint Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was in my house when Sayyiduna Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him), who was still a small child at the time, came and sat on the blessed stomach of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and then he urinated on his (peace and blessings be upon him) stomach. I went forward to take hold of him, but he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bring me water." I brought water, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) poured it over that place. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him), stating the rule, said: "The urine of a girl is washed, while over the urine of a boy water is only sprinkled." (This narration is sahih (authentic); Abu Dawud, al-Nasa'i and al-Hakim recorded it from the narration of Abu al-Samh with slight differences in wording, but the meaning is the same.) In another narration, also from Sayyidah Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her), it is reported that when Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) had begun to crawl, once, through my inattention, he went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), sat on his blessed stomach and urinated. I rushed to take hold of him, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) woke up and said: "Leave him for now." So I left him until he had finished. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) called for water and said: "Indeed, over the urine of a boy water is sprinkled, and the urine of a girl is washed; so pour water over it thoroughly." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution and began to pray. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) stood, he would pick him up in his arms, and when he bowed or sat, he would put him down. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) sat and began to supplicate, and during it he wept and stretched out his hand. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer, I said: O Messenger of Allah, today I saw you do something I have never seen you do before? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Jibril (peace be upon him) came to me and informed me that my Ummah will kill this son of mine. I said: Show me the soil of the place of his martyrdom, so he showed me red soil from there."
