وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي خَارِجَةُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ سَرْجٍ ، عَنْ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ ، وَهِيَ خَوْلَةُ ، وَهِيَ جَدَّةُ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهَا تَقُولُ : " قَدِ اخْتَلَفَتْ يَدِي وَيَدُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Khawlah bint Qays (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: "My hand and the blessed hand of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took turns (taking water) in one and the same vessel."
