مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ شَيْخًا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِمَاءٍ ، وَفِي الْمَاءِ قِلَّةٌ ، " فَتَوَضَّأَ فِي جَوْفِ الْإِنَاءِ ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِهِ فَنُضِحَ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ " فَسَعُدَ فِي أَنْفُسِنَا مَنْ أَصَابَهُ ذَلِكَ الْمَاءُ .
قَالَ : وَأُرَاهُ قَدْ أَصَابَ الْقَوْمَ كُلَّهُمْ ، ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي بِهِمْ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ .
وَفِي إِسْنَادِهِ شَيْخٌ .
قَالَ : وَأُرَاهُ قَدْ أَصَابَ الْقَوْمَ كُلَّهُمْ ، ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي بِهِمْ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ .
وَفِي إِسْنَادِهِ شَيْخٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that a little water was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so he (peace and blessings be upon him) "performed ablution inside the vessel itself, then gave an order concerning it (the remaining water), and it was sprinkled over all the people." Whoever among us was reached by that water considered it a great good fortune and blessing for himself. The narrator said: I think that the water reached everyone present. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up for prayer and led them in the dawn (Fajr) prayer. In the chain of this hadith there is an unidentified shaykh.
