وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ : حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ هُوَ ابْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ رَزِينٍ الْبَكْرِيِّ ، حَدَّثَتْنَا مَوْلَاةٌ لَنَا يُقَالُ لَهَا سَلْمَى مِنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا ، تَقُولُ : دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : يَا عَائِشَةُ ، هَلْ مِنْ كِسْرَةٍ ، فَآتَيْتُهُ بِقُرْصٍ فَوَضَعَهُ عَلَى فِيهِ ، وَقَالَ : يَا عَائِشَةُ ، هَلْ دَخَلَ بَطْنِي مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ ، فَكَذَلِكَ قُبْلَةُ الصَّائِمِ ، إِنَّمَا الْإِفْطَارُ مِمَّا دَخَلَ ، وَلَيْسَ مِمَّا خَرَجَ .
1063 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ ، بِهَذَا .

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me and asked: "O Aishah! Is there a piece of bread available?" I brought him a (round) loaf of bread, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) touched it to his blessed mouth and asked: "O Aishah! Has anything of it entered my stomach?" (Then, clarifying the ruling by this example, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:) "Likewise is the kiss of the fasting person (to his wife). In reality, the fast is broken by something entering the body, not by what comes out of the body."
Imam Abu Ya'la (may Allah have mercy on him) also recorded this report in the same way in his chain through Ahmad bin Mani'.
