Further reports on the great number of this Ummah who will enter Paradise

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "My Lord has promised me that He will admit one hundred thousand members of my Ummah into Paradise." Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Messenger of Allah! Increase it for us." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And like this," and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said this while pointing with his blessed hand. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Prophet of Allah! Increase it for us." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And like this." Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Abu Bakr! That is enough for you." Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Ibn al-Khattab! What business is it of yours with us?" Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Indeed Allah Almighty has the power to admit all the people into Paradise with a single handful (that is, what is formed by joining both palms)." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Umar has spoken rightly."
Ahmad, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, recorded it; its chain is hasan (good).

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed Allah Almighty has promised me that He will admit four hundred thousand members of my Ummah into Paradise." Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Messenger of Allah! Have it increased for us." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And like this." He (peace and blessings be upon him) (said this while pointing) with both his palms joined together. After this the narrator recorded the narration as before.
Ahmad, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, recorded it; the narrators of both are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Seventy thousand of my Ummah will enter Paradise." The people said: "O Messenger of Allah! Increase it for us." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "With every single person there will be seventy thousand people." The people said: "O Messenger of Allah! Increase it for us." He was on a sand dune, and he scooped up (sand) with both his hands. The people said: "O Messenger of Allah! Increase it for us." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It will be this," and he scooped up (sand) with both his hands. The people said: "O Prophet of Allah! May Allah Almighty distance the one who enters Hell even after this."
Abu Ya'la recorded it.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "I prayed to my Lord, and He promised me that He will admit seventy thousand of my Ummah into Paradise, who will be like the moon on the night of the full moon. I asked Him for more, and He gave me more: with every thousand, seventy thousand people. I said: 'O my Lord! What if the Muhajirun of my Ummah are not that many?' The Lord said: 'I will complete this number for you from the Bedouins.'" (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: A narration from this Companion is reported in the Sahih in abridged form.
Ahmad recorded it; its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyidah Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) states: In the blessed time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) the sun was eclipsed. I heard the clamour of the people, who were saying: "A sign has appeared." Sayyidah Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) states: At that time we were in "Fari'" (a fortress of Madinah). I went out wrapped in a sheet of Sayyiduna al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) and came to Aishah, while the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was leading the people in prayer at that time. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) After this she narrated the complete hadith, in which further on are these words: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I saw fifty thousand (the narrator is unsure, or perhaps the words are:) seventy thousand people entering Paradise, and they were like the moon on the night of the full moon. A man stood up and said: 'Pray to Allah Almighty that He makes me one of them.' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed: 'O Allah! Make him one of them. O people! Before I come down (from the minbar), whatever you ask me about, I will tell you about it.' A man stood up and asked: 'Who is my father?' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Your father is so-and-so,' and this was the very person to whom he used to be attributed." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The incident of the solar eclipse is mentioned in the "Sahih".
Ahmad recorded it; its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Muhammad bin Abbad bin Abdullah bin al-Zubayr, who is thiqah (trustworthy).

Abu Bakr bin Umayr narrates from his father this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed Allah Almighty has promised me that He will admit three hundred thousand members of my Ummah into Paradise." Sayyiduna Umayr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Prophet of Allah! Increase it for us." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Like this." Sayyiduna Umayr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Prophet of Allah! Increase it for us." Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Umayr! That is enough for you." Sayyiduna Umayr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Ibn al-Khattab! What business is it of yours with us? And if Allah Almighty admits us into Paradise, what is the problem for you?" Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Indeed, if Allah Almighty wills, He can admit all the people into Paradise with a single handful." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Umar has spoken rightly."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; I do not know the narrator named Abu Bakr bin Umayr, and the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
