عَنْ أَنَسٍ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ الْبُلْهُ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The majority of the people of Paradise will be simple-hearted people." (The word used in the text here, "al-bulh", means one in whose nature there is goodness and who is unaware of evil; according to one view, it means one whose heart is clean and who has a good opinion of people.)
وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " رُبَّ ضَعِيفٍ مُتَضَعِّفٍ لَوْ أَقْسَمَ عَلَى اللَّهِ لَأَبَرَّهُ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ سَلَامَةُ بْنُ رَوْحٍ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ .
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also said: "There may be a weak person of lowly standing who, if he swears an oath by Allah, Allah Almighty fulfils it for him."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Salamah bin Rawh, whom Ibn Hibban and others declared trustworthy, and more than one person declared him da'if (weak).
