Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The supplication of the oppressed is answered, even if he is a sinner, for his being a sinner will count against himself."
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Imam Abu Dawud has recorded from this Companion a narration about the supplication of the oppressed, which is other than this narration.
Imam Ahmad recorded this narration, Imam al-Bazzar recorded something similar, and its chain is hasan (good).

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "There are three people whose supplication it is binding upon Allah Almighty not to reject: the fasting person until he breaks his fast, the oppressed person until he obtains help (that is, redress), and the traveller until he returns."
Imam al-Tirmidhi recorded this narration with the part about the traveller abridged, and this wording is not in it.
Imam al-Bazzar recorded this narration.

In one narration recorded by him, the words are: "There are three kinds of people whose supplication is not rejected: the one who remembers Allah," and after this the narrator mentioned the hadith as before. In the chain of the second narration there is a narrator, Ishaq bin Zakariyya al-Ayli, who is Imam al-Bazzar's teacher, and I do not know him; the remaining narrators of this narration are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Protective zeal is of two kinds: Allah Almighty loves one kind and Allah Almighty dislikes the other. Zeal regarding something suspicious, Allah Almighty loves; and zeal in a situation other than suspicion, Allah Almighty dislikes. And swaggering is of two kinds: Allah Almighty loves one of them and Allah Almighty dislikes the other kind. When a man swaggers while giving charity, Allah Almighty loves it; and when a man swaggers out of arrogance, Allah Almighty dislikes it." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also said: "There are three kinds of people whose supplication is answered: the father, the traveller and the oppressed." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: After this he mentioned the complete hadith.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Abdullah bin Zayd al-Azraq, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) relates: Once I was performing tawaf with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and meanwhile he heard a man saying: "O Allah, forgive so-and-so son of so-and-so!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What is the reason for this?" He said: "A man instructed me to supplicate for him." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Your companion has been forgiven (what is meant here is: because you supplicated for him in his absence, this supplication was accepted)."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration; its chain contains a narrator, al-Harith bin Imran al-Ja'fari, and he is da'if (weak).
