بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، وَزَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا - .

عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ : غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً .
Abu Ishaq reports that Sayyiduna al-Bara' bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I took part in 15 military expeditions alongside the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ يَقُولُ : غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بِضْعَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ حُدَيْجُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ وَغَيْرُهُ وَضَعَّفَهُ النَّسَائِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ حُدَيْجُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ وَغَيْرُهُ وَضَعَّفَهُ النَّسَائِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
He says: I heard Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) say: I took part in more than 10 military expeditions alongside the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it. Its chain contains Hudayj bin Mu'awiyah; Abu Hatim and others declared him thiqah (trustworthy), while Imam al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) and others declared him da'if (weak). The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
