Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) bought a horse from a man named Sawa' bin al-Harith, and that man denied the sale. Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) testified in favour of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Why did you testify in our favour when you were not present with us?" He replied: "The reason is that you speak the truth about what you have brought, and I know that you say nothing but the truth." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Whoever Khuzaymah testifies for, or testifies against, his testimony alone will suffice."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and all of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Ibn Shihab reported from Umarah bin Khuzaymah bin Thabit al-Ansari: Sayyiduna Khuzaymah (may Allah be pleased with him) is the one whose testimony the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made equal to the testimony of two men. Ibn Shihab narrates: Umarah bin Khuzaymah reported from his paternal uncle, who was a Companion, that Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) saw in a dream that he was prostrating on the forehead of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and mentioned this to him, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) lay down for him, and he prostrated on the forehead of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Ahmad recorded it from his teacher Amir bin Salih al-Zubayri, whom Ahmad and others declared trustworthy while a group declared him weak; the rest of the narrators are thiqat (trustworthy). Other routes of this report have already passed in the Book of Dream Interpretation.
