Sayyidah Qaylah bint Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and offered a prayer behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When he completed the prayer, I stood up, and he looked at me (the narrator says: she was a tall woman), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The son of this woman must surely have fought from behind the barrier. The woman said: By Allah, he was indeed like that, O Messenger of Allah, but he has died. Then the woman said: Have a document written for me. The woman said: I have three daughters. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had this document written: "This is from the Messenger of Allah, Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), for Qaylah and the three women: they shall not be wronged in any right, they shall not be forced into marriage, and every believer and Muslim is a helper to me and to them. And let them do good and not do evil."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator who is not named, and the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
