It is reported about Sayyidah Umm Khalid (may Allah be pleased with her) bint al-Aswad bin Abd Yaghuth that she came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Who is this? The people said: She is the daughter of al-Aswad bin Abd Yaghuth. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "All praise belongs to Allah Almighty, who brings forth the living from the dead." What the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) meant was that He brings forth the believer from the disbeliever.

In one narration the wording is: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came into the house and asked: Who is this? The people said: She is one of your maternal relatives. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: That I should have maternal aunts in this land is a surprising thing. Who is she? The people said: She is Umm Khalid bint al-Aswad bin Abd Yaghuth. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Glory be to the One who brings forth the living from the dead."
Al-Tabarani recorded all of these narrations, and the second chain is hasan (good).
