بَابٌ فِي أَوْلَادِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ -

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أَنَّ خَدِيجَةَ وَلَدَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - سِتَّةً : عَبْدَ اللَّهِ ، وَالْقَاسِمَ ، وَزَيْنَبَ ، وَرُقَيَّةَ ، وَأُمَّ كُلْثُومٍ ، وَفَاطِمَةَ ، وَوَلَدَتْ لَهُ مَارِيَةُ الْقِبْطِيَّةُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو شَيْبَةَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) states: Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) bore six children to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Sayyiduna Abdullah, Sayyiduna al-Qasim, Sayyidah Zaynab, Sayyidah Ruqayyah, Sayyidah Umm Kulthum and Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with them). Sayyidah Mariyah al-Qibtiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) bore the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) his son Sayyiduna Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Abu Shaybah Ibrahim bin Uthman, who is matruk (abandoned).

وَعَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ بَكَّارٍ قَالَ : وُلِدَ لِلنَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - الْقَاسِمُ ، وَهُوَ أَكْبَرُ وَلَدِهِ ، ثُمَّ زَيْنَبُ ، ثُمَّ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، وَكَانَ يُقَالُ لَهُ : الطَّيِّبُ ، وَيُقَالُ لَهُ : الطَّاهِرُ ، وُلِدَ بَعْدَ النُّبُوَّةِ ، وَمَاتَ صَغِيرًا ، ثُمَّ أُمُّ كُلْثُومٍ ، ثُمَّ فَاطِمَةُ ، ثُمَّ رُقَيَّةُ . هَكَذَا الْأَوَّلُ فَالْأَوَّلُ . مَاتَ الْقَاسِمُ بِمَكَّةَ ، ثُمَّ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Al-Zubayr bin Bakkar states: Sayyiduna al-Qasim (may Allah be pleased with him) was born to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he was the eldest of his children; then Sayyidah Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her) was born; then Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), who was also called al-Tayyib and also called al-Tahir; he was born after the proclamation of prophethood and passed away in infancy. Then Sayyidah Umm Kulthum (may Allah be pleased with her), then Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), and then Sayyidah Ruqayyah (may Allah be pleased with her) were born. This is the order of the children. Sayyiduna al-Qasim (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away in Makkah, then Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away.
