Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Ali is with the Qur'an and the Qur'an is with Ali; the two will not separate from each other until they both come to me at the Pool."
Al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Salih bin Abi al-Aswad, who is da'if (weak).

Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) used to say: Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) is upon the truth. Whoever follows him follows the truth, and whoever abandons him abandons the truth. This is a covenant that was made before this day of his.
Al-Tabarani recorded this narration. Its chain contains a narrator, Malik bin Ja'unah, whom I do not know; the rest of the narrators of one of the two chains are thiqat (trustworthy).

Jurayy bin Samurah narrates: When there occurred between the people of Basrah and Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) what occurred, I set out and came to Madinah. I went to Sayyidah Maymunah bint al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with her), who was from Banu Hilal, and greeted her with salam. She asked: "Where are you from?" I said: "From the people of Iraq." She asked: "Which of the people of Iraq?" I replied: "From the people of Kufa." She asked: "Which of the people of Kufa?" I replied: "From Banu Amir." She said: "Welcome! You are kin upon kin, and welcome upon welcome! What brings you here?" I said: "There is what there is between Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him), so I went and pledged allegiance to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him)." Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "Stay with him. By Allah, he will neither go astray nor lead astray." Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) said this three times.
Al-Tabarani recorded this narration, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Jurayy bin Samurah, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).

Ali bin Rabi'ah narrates: I heard Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) when a man came to him and said: "O Commander of the Believers, why do I see you driving people along the way a man drives his camels? Is this a covenant from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), or is it your own opinion?" Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "By Allah, I have neither been told a lie nor have I lied; I have neither gone astray nor been led astray. Rather, this is a covenant from the Messenger of Allah, and whoever fabricates a lie is disgraced."
Abu Ya'la recorded this narration. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Rabi' bin Sahl, who is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "O Ali, whoever separates from me separates from Allah Almighty. O Ali, whoever separates from you separates from me."
Al-Bazzar recorded this narration, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
