بَابُ النَّظَرِ إِلَيْهِ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - .

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ - أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " النَّظَرُ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ عِبَادَةٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ بَدَيْلٍ الْيَامِيُّ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَقَالَ : مُسْتَقِيمُ الْحَدِيثِ ، وَابْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ بَدَيْلٍ الْيَامِيُّ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَقَالَ : مُسْتَقِيمُ الْحَدِيثِ ، وَابْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Looking at Ali is worship."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Ahmad bin Budayl al-Yami, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy), saying: He is mustaqim al-hadith (sound in hadith); and so did Ibn Abi Hatim; and there is weakness in him. The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.

وَعَنْ طُلَيْقِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ الْحُصَيْنِ يَحِدُّ النَّظَرَ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ ، فَقَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " النَّظَرُ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ عِبَادَةٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Tulayq bin Muhammad narrates: I saw Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) gazing intently at Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). He was asked about it, and he said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Looking at Ali is worship."
