Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "I have been given superiority over the other Prophets in six respects; these things were not given to anyone before me: my past and future sins have been forgiven; the spoils of war have been made lawful for me, and they were not lawful for anyone before me; my Ummah has been made the best of all nations; the whole earth has been made for me a place of prayer and a means of purification; I have been given al-Kawthar; and I have been helped with awe (struck into the enemy). By the One in whose hand is my soul, your master will be the bearer of the Banner of Praise (Liwa' al-Hamd) on the Day of Resurrection, under which (banner) will be Sayyiduna Adam (peace be upon him) and all those besides him."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its chain is jayyid (good).
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been given five distinctions which were not given to any Prophet before me: I have been sent to all people, white and black, whereas before every Prophet was sent to his own people; I have been helped with awe (struck into the enemy) from a distance of a month's journey; I have been given the spoils of war, which were not given to any Prophet before me; the whole earth has been made for me a place of prayer and a means of purification; and every Prophet before me was given a special supplication, and that Prophet made that supplication, but I have deferred my special supplication for the intercession of my Ummah, and if Allah wills, it will reach every person who dies in such a state that he does not associate anyone with Allah."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain is hasan (good).
