بَابُ عِصْمَتِهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مِنَ الْقَرِينِ .

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا وَقَدْ وُكِّلَ بِهِ قَرِينُهُ مِنَ الشَّيَاطِينِ " . قَالُوا : وَأَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ ، وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ أَعَانَنِي عَلَيْهِ فَأَسْلَمَ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ قَابُوسِ بْنِ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ عَلَى ضَعْفِهِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "With every one of you a 'qarin' (companion) from among the devils has been appointed." The people said: "O Messenger of Allah, with you as well?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, but Allah Almighty has helped me against him, and he has submitted."
Imam Ahmad, at-Tabarani and al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Qabus bin Abi Zabyan, who has been declared trustworthy despite his weakness.

وَعَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا جُعِلَ مَعَهُ قَرِينٌ مِنَ الْجِنِّ " . قَالُوا : وَلَا أَنْتَ ؟ قَالَ : " وَلَا أَنَا ، إِلَّا أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَعَانَنِي عَلَيْهِ فَأَسْلَمَ ، فَلَا يَأْمُرُنِي إِلَّا بِخَيْرٍ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو حَمَّادٍ الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ صَدَقَةَ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "With everyone a 'qarin' (companion) from among the jinn has been appointed." The people said: "With you as well?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "With me as well, except that Allah Almighty helped me against him and he submitted, so he commands me only to good."

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " فُضِّلْتُ عَلَى الْأَنْبِيَاءِ بِخَصْلَتَيْنِ : كَانَ شَيْطَانِي كَافِرًا فَأَعَانَنِي اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى أَسْلَمَ ، وَنَسِيتُ الْخَصْلَةَ الْأُخْرَى " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ صِرْمَةَ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been given superiority over the other prophets in two respects: my devil was a disbeliever, and Allah Almighty helped me against him until he submitted." The narrator said: I have forgotten the other one.

وَعَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " مَا مِنْكُمْ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا مَعَهُ شَيْطَانٌ " . قُلْنَا : وَأَنْتَ ؟ قَالَ : " وَأَنَا ، إِلَّا أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَعَانَنِي عَلَيْهِ فَأَسْلَمَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "With me as well, but Allah Almighty helped me against him and he submitted."

وَعَنْ شَرِيكِ بْنِ طَارِقٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا لَهُ شَيْطَانٌ " . قَالُوا : وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " وَلَا أَنَا ، إِلَّا أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَعَانَنِي عَلَيْهِ فَأَسْلَمَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُ الْبَزَّارِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Sharik bin Tariq (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "With every one of you there is a devil." The people said: "O Messenger of Allah, is there one with you as well?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is one with me as well, except that Allah Almighty helped me concerning him and he submitted."
