Khalid bin Abdullah al-Qasri transmits from his father this statement of his grandfather: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to their grandfather, Sayyiduna Yazid bin Asad (may Allah be pleased with him): "Love for people what you love for yourself."
Hadith Takhrij«اخرجه ابو يعلى فى المسند (911) اخرجه الطبراني فى المعجم الكبير (238/22) اخرجه الطبراني فى المعجم الصغير (70/4) ، أخرجه مسند أحمد برقم: 16217»
In a narration transmitted from Khalid, the words are: he says: My father narrated to me from my grandfather
this narration; he says: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked me: 'Do you love Paradise?' (The narrator says:) I said: 'Yes!' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Then love for your brother what you love for yourself.'"
Abdullah, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, recorded something similar, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him): the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever would like to be saved from Hell and to enter Paradise, then when death comes to him his state should be that he bears witness that there is no god but Allah Almighty and that Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is His servant and His Messenger, and that he treats people the way he would like to be treated."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Layth bin Abi Sulaym, who is a mudallis; its remaining narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
