بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي الْفُحْشِ

عَنْ سُلَيْمٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي لَيْثٍ ، وَكَانَ قَدِيمًا ، وَقَدْ لَقِيَ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ وَمَرْوَانَ قَالَ :
مَرَّ مَرْوَانُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ عَلَى أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي ، فَجَاءَهُ مَرْوَانُ ، فَقَالَ أُسَامَةُ : يَا مَرْوَانُ ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ فَاحِشٍ مُتَفَحِّشٍ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ بِأَسَانِيدَ ، وَأَحَدُ أَسَانِيدِ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ رِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ بِأَسَانِيدَ ، وَأَحَدُ أَسَانِيدِ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ رِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sulaym, the freed slave (mawla) of Banu Layth, who was an elderly man and had met Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) and Marwan, states: Once Marwan bin al-Hakam passed by Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with them both) while he was praying. Marwan came to him, and Sayyiduna Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Marwan, I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Indeed, Allah Almighty dislikes every foul-mouthed, obscene person.'"
Ahmad, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, recorded it with various chains; the narrators of one of al-Tabarani's chains are thiqat (trustworthy).

وَعَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ عِنْدَ حُجْرَةِ عَائِشَةَ يَدْعُو ، فَجَاءَ مَرْوَانُ فَأَسْمَعَهُ كَلَامًا ، فَقَالَ أُسَامَةُ : أَمَا أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ :
Ubaydullah bin Abdullah bin Utbah states: I saw Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) supplicating near the chamber of Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her). Meanwhile Marwan came and said something to him, so Sayyiduna Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Indeed, Allah Almighty dislikes the obscene, foul-mouthed person.'"

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ - قَالَ :
أَلْأَمُ أَخْلَاقِ الْمُؤْمِنِ الْفُحْشُ " .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "The most blameworthy of a believer's traits is obscene speech."
