بَابُ الْقِرَاءَةِ بِالْحُزْنِ .

عَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ بِالْحُزْنِ فَإِنَّهُ نَزَلَ بِالْحُزْنِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ سَيْفٍ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) states: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Recite the Qur'an with grief, for it was revealed with grief."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Isma'il bin Sayf, who is da'if (weak).

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِنَّ أَحْسَنَ النَّاسِ قِرَاءَةً مَنْ إِذَا قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ يَتَحَزَّنُ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَهُوَ حَسَنُ الْحَدِيثِ وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The best of people in recitation is the one who, when he recites the Qur'an, shows sorrow."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, who is hasan al-hadith (fair in hadith), and there is weakness in him.
