The words of Allah the Exalted: "Indeed, He who imposed the Quran upon you will return you to a place of return"

Imam al-Baqir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I asked Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) about this statement of Allah Almighty: (Allah Almighty says:) "Indeed, the One who has ordained the Qur'an upon you will surely return you to a place of return." Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The place of return refers to his (peace and blessings be upon him) Hereafter."
Abu Ya'la recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: (Allah Almighty says:) "Indeed, the One who has ordained the Qur'an upon you will surely return you to a place of return." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: (What is meant is that) your place of return is "Paradise".

In one narration the wording is: "The place of return" refers to death.
Al-Tabarani recorded it with two chains; the narrators of one of them are the narrators of the Sahih, except Khusayf, who is thiqah (trustworthy) but has some weakness in him.
