عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ الْقُرَظِيِّ قَالَ : نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ فِي عَشَرَةِ رَهْطٍ أَنَا أَحَدُهُمْ وَلَقَدْ وَصَّلْنَا لَهُمُ الْقَوْلَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ بِإِسْنَادَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا مُتَّصِلٌ وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ وَهُوَ هَذَا ، وَالْآخَرُ مُنْقَطِعُ الْإِسْنَادِ .
Sayyiduna Rifa'ah al-Qurazi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: This verse was revealed about ten people, one of whom was "I": (Allah Almighty says:) "And We have conveyed the Word (the Qur'an) to them, so that they may take heed."
Al-Tabarani recorded it with two chains, one of which is muttasil (connected) and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), and it is this narration, while the other narration is "munqati'" (broken) in its chain.
