Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection people will be raised, and I and my Ummah will be on a hill. My Lord will clothe me in a green garment; then permission will be given to me, and I will say whatever Allah wills. That will be the Praised Station (al-Maqam al-Mahmud)."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

It is reported about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said concerning this saying of Allah Almighty (Allah Almighty says:) "Perhaps your Lord will raise you to a Praised Station." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: That is, the Lord will seat the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) between Himself and Sayyiduna Jibril (peace be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) will intercede for his Ummah; that is the Praised Station.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, who is da'if (weak) when he is not corroborated, and a narrator, Ata' bin Dinar, about whom it is said that he did not hear from Sa'id bin Jubayr.
