Urwah, among those who were martyred on the day of Ajnadayn, mentioned these persons: from Quraysh, of the branch Banu Abd Shams bin Manaf, Sayyiduna Aban bin Sa'id bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him); from Quraysh, of the branch Banu Sahm bin Husays, Sayyiduna Tamim bin al-Harith bin Qays, and Sayyiduna Jundub bin Hamamah al-Dawsi (may Allah be pleased with him), who was an ally of Banu Umayyah bin Abd Shams; from Quraysh, of the branch Banu Umayyah, Sayyiduna Amr bin Sa'id bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him); from Quraysh, of the branch Banu Sahm, Sayyiduna Hajjaj bin al-Harith bin Qays (may Allah be pleased with him); from Quraysh, of the branch Banu Sahm, Sayyiduna al-Harith bin al-Harith bin Qays (may Allah be pleased with him); from Quraysh, of the branch Banu Sahm, Sayyiduna Sa'id bin al-Harith bin Qays (may Allah be pleased with him); and from Banu Adi bin Ka'b, Sayyiduna Nu'aym bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him). Al-Tabarani recorded all these narrations. The chain of Urwah contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, whose narrations are hasan (good), and there is weakness in this narrator.

Al-Tabarani mentioned both of them with a single chain, and the narrators of both are thiqat (trustworthy).
