بَابٌ فِيمَنْ جُرِحَ أَوْ نُكِبَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ سَأَلَ اللَّهَ الشَّهَادَةَ

عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ سَأَلَ اللَّهَ الْقَتْلَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ صَادِقًا عَنْ نَفْسِهِ ثُمَّ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ فَلَهُ أَجْرُ شَهِيدٍ ، وَمَنْ جُرِحَ جُرْحًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ نُكِبَ نَكْبَةً فَإِنَّهَا تَأْتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَغْزَرِ مَا كَانَتْ ، لَوْنُهَا كَالزَّعْفَرَانِ وَرِيحُهَا رِيحُ الْمِسْكِ ، وَمَنْ جُرِحَ بِهِ جِرَاحٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ طَابَعُ الشُّهَدَاءِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَفِيهِ سَعِيدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الرَّحْبِيُّ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَضَعَّفَهُ جُمْهُورُ الْأَئِمَّةِ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَفِيهِ سَعِيدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الرَّحْبِيُّ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَضَعَّفَهُ جُمْهُورُ الْأَئِمَّةِ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Malik al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sincerely asks Allah Almighty to be killed in His path, and then dies (a natural death) or is killed, will have the reward of a martyr. And whoever suffers a wound in the path of Allah, or suffers a hardship, when he comes on the Day of Resurrection that wound will be greater than before; its colour will be like saffron and its fragrance will be like the fragrance of musk. And whoever suffers any wound in the path of Allah, the seal of the martyrs is placed upon him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Sa'id bin Yusuf al-Rahabi, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy), while the majority of the imams declared him da'if (weak). The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ - قَالَ الْبَزَّارُ : وَلَمْ أَجِدْ فِي كِتَابِي عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَأَحْسَبُهُ مَرْفُوعًا - قَالَ : " مَنْ خَرَجَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَدَمُهُ أَغْزَرُ مَا كَانَ ، لَوْنُهُ الزَّعْفَرَانُ وَرِيحُهُ رِيحُ الْمِسْكِ وَعَلَيْهِ طَابَعُ الشُّهَدَاءِ " .

It is reported from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him). Al-Bazzar says: I did not find in my written record that it is from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), but I think it is a marfu' hadith (the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said): "Whoever goes out in the path of Allah, when he comes on the Day of Resurrection his blood will be more abundant than before; its colour will be like saffron, its fragrance will be like the fragrance of musk, and upon him will be the seal of the martyrs."
