عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : أَرْدَفَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - خَلْفَهُ ، وَقُثَمُ أَمَامَهُ .
قُلْتُ : إِرْدَافُهُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ .
قُلْتُ : إِرْدَافُهُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) seated me behind him and seated Qutham in front of him. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith about seating Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) behind him is mentioned in the Sahih.

وَلَهُ عِنْدُ الْبَزَّارِ قَالَ : أَفَاضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مِنْ جَمْعٍ أَوْ عَرَفَةَ وَقُثَمُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَالْفَضْلُ خَلْفَهُ .
وَإِرْدَافُهُ لِلْفَضْلِ فِي الصَّحِيحِ .
وَفِي إِسْنَادِ أَحْمَدَ وَالْبَزَّارِ جَابِرٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
وَإِرْدَافُهُ لِلْفَضْلِ فِي الصَّحِيحِ .
وَفِي إِسْنَادِ أَحْمَدَ وَالْبَزَّارِ جَابِرٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
From the same Companion, al-Bazzar
recorded this report; he narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) departed from Muzdalifah, or perhaps from Arafah, while Sayyiduna Qutham (may Allah be pleased with him) was seated in front of him and Sayyiduna Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him) was seated behind him. The hadith about the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) seating Sayyiduna Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him) behind him is mentioned in the Sahih. The chains of Ahmad and al-Bazzar contain Jabir al-Ju'fi, who is da'if (weak).
