عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَعْطَى الزُّبَيْرَ سَهْمًا وَأُمَّهُ سَهْمًا وَفَرَسَهُ سَهْمَيْنِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
قُلْتُ : وَتَأْتِي أَحَادِيثُ سَهْمَانِ لِلْخَيْلِ فِي قَسْمِهِ الْغَنِيمَةَ .

Sayyiduna Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave Sayyiduna Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) one share, his mother one share, and his horse two shares.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadiths about the horse having two shares will come later in the chapter on the distribution of the spoils of war.
