The owner of a mount has more right to ride in front

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " صَاحِبُ الدَّابَّةِ أَحَقُّ بِصَدْرِهَا " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَضَعَّفَهُ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The owner of a riding animal has more right to sit at the front of it."
Al-Bazzar recorded it and declared it da'if (weak).
