بَابٌ فِي غَضَبِ الْحَاكِمِ .

عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنِ ابْتُلِيَ بِالْقَضَاءِ بَيْنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَلَا يَقْضِيَنَّ وَهُوَ غَضْبَانُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ عَبَّادُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is appointed to the office of judge between the Muslims must never give judgment while he is angry."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains Abbad bin Kathir al-Thaqafi, who is matruk (abandoned).

وَعَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ - يَعْنِي عَطِيَّةَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ - قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ جَدِّي قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِذَا اسْتَشَاطَ السُّلْطَانُ تَسَلَّطَ الشَّيْطَانُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ .

Urwah bin Muhammad bin Atiyyah, that is (the grandson of) Atiyyah bin Sa'd, narrates: My father narrated to me from my grandfather that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the ruler becomes enraged, Satan takes control."
Ahmad recorded it, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator whom I do not know.
