Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When a man becomes bankrupt, and then someone finds his own property exactly as it was (the narrator says: that is, finds it with that bankrupt person), he has more right to that property."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever becomes bankrupt, and then a person finds his own property with him, and he has not received any payment for his property, he has more right to that property." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
This narration is mentioned in the Sahih, but without these words: "and he has not received anything of his property."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
