Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade that date palms be sold on the condition of two or three years, or that a man buy the fruit on the date palms in exchange for a specified measure, or that fruit be sold before it ripens fully (the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade all these things).
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its chain is hasan (good); its chain contains a narrator al-Hajjaj bin Artah, who is thiqah (trustworthy) but a mudallis.
