عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَ الْقَيْنَةَ ، وَبَيْعَهَا ، وَثَمَنَهَا ، وَتَعْلِيمَهَا ، وَالِاسْتِمَاعَ إِلَيْهَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ اثْنَانِ لَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ ذَكَرَهُمَا ، وَلَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ ، وَهُوَ مُدَلِّسٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ اثْنَانِ لَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ ذَكَرَهُمَا ، وَلَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ ، وَهُوَ مُدَلِّسٌ .
Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has declared unlawful the singing slave-girl, selling her, her price, teaching her and listening to her."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains two narrators whom I have not found anyone mentioning, and the narrator Layth bin Abi Sulaym is a mudallis (one who conceals defects in the chain).

وَعَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " ثَمَنُ الْقَيْنَةِ سُحْتٌ ، وَغِنَاؤُهَا حَرَامٌ ، وَالنَّظَرُ إِلَيْهَا حَرَامٌ ، وَثَمَنُهَا مِثْلُ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ ، وَثَمَنُ الْكَلْبِ سُحْتٌ ، وَمَنْ نَبَتَ لَحْمُهُ عَلَى السُّحْتِ ، فَالنَّارُ أَوْلَى بِهِ " .

Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The price of a singing slave-girl is unlawful, her singing is unlawful, looking at her is unlawful, her price is like the price of a dog, and the price of a dog is unlawful; and whoever's flesh has grown from the unlawful, the Fire is more deserving of him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Yazid bin Abd al-Malik al-Nawfali, and he is matruk (abandoned); the majority of the Imams declared him da'if (weak). In one report it is narrated from Yahya bin Ma'in that there is no harm in him, and according to another report he declared him da'if (weak).

وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنْ بَيْعِ الْمُغَنِّيَاتِ ، وَالنَّوَّاحَاتِ ، وَشِرَائِهِنَّ ، وَبَيْعِهِنَّ وَتِجَارَةٍ فِيهِنَّ ، وَقَالَ : " كَسْبُهُنَّ حَرَامٌ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ نَبْهَانَ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade selling singing slave-girls and wailing slave-girls, buying them, selling them and trading in them. He said: "Their earnings are unlawful."
