Sayyiduna Imam Husayn bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this as a marfu' hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); he said: "The one who is cheated is neither praised nor rewarded."
Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains Abu Hisham al-Qannad. Al-Dhahabi said: he is hardly known; but I have not seen anyone other than al-Dhahabi speak about him.

Sayyiduna Imam Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The one who is cheated is neither praised nor rewarded."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Muhammad bin Hisham. Apparently he is Muhammad bin Hisham bin Urwah. Al-Mizan does not mention anyone named Muhammad bin Hisham who is weak. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Cheating the mustarsil (that is, the one who trusts the seller and leaves the price to him in a sale) is unlawful."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Musa bin Umayr al-A'ma (the blind), who is extremely da'if (weak).
