Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The slaughter of the young in the womb (of an animal) is the slaughter of its mother."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Bishr bin Umarah, who has been declared trustworthy, and there is weakness in him.

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "For the young in the womb (of an animal), the slaughter of its mother counts as its slaughter, provided it has grown hair." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Abu Dawud also recorded this narration, but he did not record the words "provided it has grown hair."
Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains Hammad bin Shu'ayb, who is da'if (weak).
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For the young in the womb (of an animal), the slaughter of its mother counts as the slaughter of that young, provided it has grown hair."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir. He did not record the words "provided it has grown hair." Its chain contains Ibn Ishaq, who is thiqah (trustworthy) but a mudallis (one who conceals defects in the chain); the remaining narrators of al-Mu'jam al-Awsat are thiqat (trustworthy).
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reports from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that, regarding the slaughter of the young in the womb of an animal, he said that the slaughter of its mother counts as its slaughter.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Isma'il bin Muslim, who is da'if (weak).
Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "For the young in the womb (of an animal), the slaughter of its mother counts as its slaughter."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Muhammad bin Abi Layla, who had a poor memory, but he is thiqah (trustworthy).
Sayyiduna Abu Layla (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about slaughtering the young in the womb of an animal, and he said: "The slaughter of its mother counts as its slaughter."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Halbas bin Muhammad, who is matruk (abandoned).
