Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Uhud is a mountain that loves us and we love it."
Ahmad recorded it, and its chain is hasan (good).

Uqbah bin Suwayd al-Ansari narrates that he heard his father, who was one of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), say: We were returning with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from the expedition of Khaybar. When Mount Uhud came into his view, he said: "Allahu Akbar! Uhud is a mountain that loves us and we love it."
Ahmad and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir recorded it. Ibn Abi Hatim mentioned the narrator Uqbah and did not mention any criticism (jarh) of him; the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Uhud (the mountain) is one of the pillars of Paradise."
Abu Ya'la and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abdullah bin Ja'far, the father of Ali bin al-Madini, who is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Abu Abs bin Jabr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said about Mount Uhud: "This mountain loves us and we love it; it will be at one of the gates of Paradise. And this mountain of Ayr hates us and we hate it; it will be at one of the gates of Hell."
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Awsat recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Majid bin Abi Abs, whom Abu Hatim considered soft (layyin), and its chain also contains someone whom I do not know.

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Uhud is a mountain that loves us and we love it. When you come to it, eat something from its trees, even if it is from its thorny trees." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
This narration is reported in "the Sahih" in abridged form.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Kathir bin Zayd, whom Ahmad and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), though he has been criticised.

Sayyiduna Amr bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Four mountains are mountains of Paradise, four rivers are rivers of Paradise, and four battles are battles of Paradise." It was asked: "Which are the mountains?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Uhud, which loves us and we love it, is one of the mountains of Paradise; al-Tur is one of the mountains of Paradise; and Lebanon is one of the mountains of Paradise. The four rivers are: the Nile, the Euphrates, Sayhan and Jayhan. And the battles (are): Badr, Uhud, al-Khandaq and Hunayn."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Kathir bin Abdullah, who is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed for mercy upon Dhubab (a mountain). Al-Tabarani says: It has reached me that Dhubab is a mountain in the Hijaz, and the word "salla" in the narration means that he supplicated for blessing upon it.
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Ibn al-Athir said that it is a mountain in Madinah.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Muhaymin bin Abbas, who is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I used to shoot wild animals and hunt them, and I would present their meat as a gift to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) found me absent and asked: "Salamah, where have you been?" I said: "I went far away to hunt, O Messenger of Allah. I was hunting in the upper part of Qanat, towards Bayt." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you had hunted in the valley of al-Aqiq, I would have accompanied you when you went and met you when you came back, for I love the valley of al-Aqiq."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its chain is hasan (good).

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "One (an angel) came to me while I was at al-Aqiq, and he said: 'You are in a blessed valley.'"
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
