بَابٌ فِيمَا بَيْنَ الْقَبْرِ وَالْمِنْبَرِ .

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَا بَيْنَ بَيْتِي وَمِنْبَرِي رَوْضَةٌ مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ وَمِنْبَرِي عَلَى حَوْضِي " .
قُلْتُ : حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُمَا أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
قُلْتُ : حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) report that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The area between my house and my pulpit is one of the gardens of Paradise, and my pulpit will be over my Pond (Hawd)." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) is mentioned in the "Sahih". Ahmad recorded both these narrations, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَا بَيْنَ بَيْتِي إِلَى حُجْرَتِي رَوْضَةٌ مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَإِنَّ مِنْبَرِي عَلَى تُرْعَةٍ مِنْ تُرَعِ الْجَنَّةِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ .

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The area from my house to my chamber (the word is like this in the printed book, but perhaps it is an error of the scribe or copyist, since house and chamber mean the same thing; in place of "chamber" the word should have been "pulpit") is one of the gardens of Paradise, and my pulpit will be at one of the doors of Paradise."
Imam Ahmad, Imam Abu Ya'la and Imam al-Bazzar recorded this. Its chain contains a narrator, Ali bin Zayd, who has been criticised, though he has also been declared trustworthy.

وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " مِنْبَرِي عَلَى تُرْعَةٍ مِنْ تُرَعِ الْجَنَّةِ " .
فَقُلْتُ : مَا التُّرْعَةُ يَا أَبَا الْعَبَّاسِ ؟ قَالَ : الْبَابُ .

Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "My pulpit will be at one of the doors of Paradise." The narrator says: I asked (my teacher): "O Abu al-Abbas! What does tur'ah mean?" He replied: "A door."
Imam Ahmad recorded this, and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and the narrators of Imam Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The area between my house and my pulpit (the narrator is in doubt; perhaps the words are:) between my grave and my pulpit is one of the gardens of Paradise."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded this, and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "My pulpit will be at one of the doors of Paradise."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded this. Its chain contains a narrator, Amr bin Malik al-Rasibi, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy), and he said: He narrates unusual (gharib) reports and makes mistakes. Abu Zur'ah and others declared him matruk (abandoned).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The space between my house and my pulpit is one of the gardens of Paradise, and my pulpit will be upon my Pond."

Sayyiduna Abu Waqid al-Laythi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, the legs of my pulpit have been seen in Paradise."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Yahya bin Abd al-Hamid al-Himmani, who is da'if (weak).

وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مِنْبَرِي عَلَى تُرْعَةٍ مِنْ تُرَعِ الْجَنَّةِ وَمَا بَيْنَ الْمِنْبَرِ وَبَيْنَ بَيْتِ عَائِشَةَ رَوْضَةٌ مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَهُوَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ - إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ .

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "My pulpit will be at one of the gates of Paradise, and the space between my pulpit and Aishah's house is the place of one of the gardens of Paradise."

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The space between my chamber and my place of prayer is one of the gardens of Paradise."
