بَابٌ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تَحِيضُ قَبْلَ الْوَدَاعِ .

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أُخْبِرَ أَنَّ صَفِيَّةَ حَاضَتْ قَالَ : " لَا أَرَاهَا إِلَّا حَابِسَتَنَا " ، قَالُوا : إِنَّهَا قَدْ أَفَاضَتْ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ، قَالَ : " فَلْتَنْفِرْ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ قَدْ وُثِّقَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ قَدْ وُثِّقَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed that Sayyidah Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) had begun her menses. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I think she will compel us to stay back." The people said: "She had performed the Tawaf al-Ifadah on the Day of Sacrifice." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then she may depart."

وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتَا : حَاضَتْ صَفِيَّةُ بِنْتُ حُيَيٍّ قَبْلَ النَّفْرِ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَهِيَ تَبْكِي فَقَالَ : " أَحَابِسَتَنَا أَنْتِ ؟ هَلْ كُنْتِ أَفَضْتِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ؟ " ، قَالَتْ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : " فَانْفِرِي " .
قُلْتُ : حَدِيثُ عَائِشَةَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyidah Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) and Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrate: Safiyyah bint Huyayy began her menses before the departure. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went to her, and she was weeping. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Will you compel us to stay back? Had you not performed the Tawaf al-Ifadah on the Day of Sacrifice?" She replied: "Yes!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then depart." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) is mentioned in the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) began her menses after performing the Tawaf al-Ifadah, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed her to depart.
