Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed Dhu al-Hulayfah as the miqat for the people of Madinah, al-Juhfah for the people of Syria, Yalamlam for the people of Yemen and the people of Tihamah, Qarn, which is Najd, for the people of Ta'if, and Dhat Irq for the people of Iraq.
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains al-Hajjaj bin Artah, who has been criticised, though he has been declared trustworthy.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed Qarn as the miqat for the people of Najd.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except that Ayyub bin Abi Tamimah did not hear from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both).

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed al-Aqiq as the miqat for the people of al-Mada'in, Dhat Irq for the people of Basrah, Dhu al-Hulayfah for the people of Madinah, and al-Juhfah for the people of Syria.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains Abu Zilal Hilal bin Yazid, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy), while the majority of the Imams declared him da'if (weak); the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna al-Harith bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was at Mina, or perhaps at Arafat. He appointed Yalamlam as the miqat for the people of Yemen, from which they would enter ihram.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir as part of a long hadith, which will come later in the chapter on the sermons of Hajj, if Allah wills; and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
