عَنْ جَابِرٍ وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ : وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ ، وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ ، وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ وَلِأَهْلِ تِهَامَةَ يَلَمْلَمْ ، وَلِأَهْلِ الطَّائِفِ - وَهِيَ نَجْدٌ - قَرْنًا ، وَلِأَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ ذَاتَ عِرْقٍ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ .

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed Dhu al-Hulayfah as the miqat for the people of Madinah, al-Juhfah for the people of Syria, Yalamlam for the people of Yemen and the people of Tihamah, Qarn, which is Najd, for the people of Ta'if, and Dhat Irq for the people of Iraq.
