Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever has his funeral prayer offered by one hundred people, Allah Almighty forgives him."
Imam Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Mubashshir bin Abi al-Malih; I have not found anyone who mentions him.

Abu al-Malih al-Hudhali narrates that he went out to a funeral. When the bier was set down, he turned to the people and said: "Straighten your rows, and make your intercession well." Then Abu al-Malih related that Sayyiduna Sulayk (may Allah be pleased with him), who was the brother of the Mother of the Believers Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), narrated this to him from Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
He said: "Whoever has his funeral prayer offered by one hundred people, their intercession for their brother is accepted. An ummah is from forty up to one hundred people, an 'usbah is from ten up to forty people, and a nafar is from three up to ten people." (Allamah Haythami says:) I say:
Imam Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) recorded it in abridged form.
Imam Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Qasim bin Mutayyab, and he is da'if (weak).
