Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) halted at a place, he would not depart from it until he had prayed two rak'ahs there.
Abu Ya'la, al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Uthman bin Sa'd, whom Abu Nu'aym and Abu Hatim declared thiqah (trustworthy), and a group declared him da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Fadalah bin Ubayd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) halted at a place during a journey, and when he came into his house, he would not sit down until he had prayed two rak'ahs.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Waqidi, whom Mus'ab al-Zubayri and others declared thiqah (trustworthy); a group of the Imams declared him da'if (weak).
