بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يَتَخَطَّى رِقَابَ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ .

عَنِ الْأَرْقَمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْأَرْقَمِ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِنَّ الَّذِي يَتَخَطَّى رِقَابَ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَيُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ بَعْدَ خُرُوجِ الْإِمَامِ كَالْجَارِّ قُصْبَهُ فِي النَّارِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ هِشَامُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ وَقَدْ أَجْمَعُوا عَلَى ضَعْفِهِ .

Sayyiduna al-Arqam bin Abi al-Arqam, who was one of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, the one who steps over the necks of the people on Friday and separates two people, doing so after the imam has come, is like a person dragging his entrails in the Fire."
Imam Ahmad and Imam al-Tabarani, in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, recorded this narration. Its chain contains a narrator, Hisham bin Ziyad, whose weakness the hadith scholars agree upon.

وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : بَيْنَمَا النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَخْطُبُ إِذْ جَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ يَتَخَطَّى رِقَابَ النَّاسِ حَتَّى جَلَسَ قَرِيبًا مِنَ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَلَمَّا قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - صَلَاتَهُ قَالَ : " مَا مَنَعَكَ يَا فُلَانُ أَنْ تُجَمِّعَ مَعَنَا ؟ "قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَدْ حَرَصْتُ أَنْ أَضَعَ نَفْسِي بِالْمَكَانِ الَّذِي تَرَى قَالَ : " قَدْ رَأَيْتُكَ تَخَطَّى رِقَابَ النَّاسِ وَتُؤْذِيهِمْ، مَنْ آذَى مُسْلِمًا فَقَدْ آذَانِي وَمَنْ آذَانِي فَقَدْ آذَى اللَّهَ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مُطَيَّبٍ قَالَ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ : كَانَ يُخْطِئُ كَثِيرًا فَاسْتَحَقَّ التَّرْكَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مُطَيَّبٍ قَالَ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ : كَانَ يُخْطِئُ كَثِيرًا فَاسْتَحَقَّ التَّرْكَ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering the sermon. Meanwhile a man came, stepped over the necks of the people and sat down close to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had completed the prayer, he said: "O so-and-so, what prevented you from offering the Friday prayer with us?" He said: O Messenger of Allah! I wanted to sit in a place that you could see. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I saw you stepping over the necks of the people and causing them harm. Whoever harms a Muslim has harmed me, and whoever harms me has harmed Allah Almighty."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Saghir. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Qasim bin Mutayyab. Imam Ibn Hibban (may Allah have mercy on him) said: He used to make many mistakes, so he deserved to be abandoned.

وَعَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَا تَأْكُلْ مُتَّكِئًا وَلَا تَخَطَّ رِقَابَ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زُرَيْقٍ قَالَ الْأَزْدِيُّ : لَا يَصِحُّ حَدِيثُهُ .

Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not eat while reclining, and do not step over the necks of the people on Friday."
