Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went into ruku' (bowing), he kept (his back) perfectly level, so that if water were poured on his back, it would stay in place.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and Imam Abu Ya'la, and its narrators have been declared trustworthy.

Abdullah bin Ahmad recorded this narration; he says: I found this narration in my father's writing. Its chain contains a narrator who is not named, and there is disagreement about a narrator named Sinan bin Harun.
