Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever deliberately passes in front of another person who is praying, he (the one passing) will wish on the Day of Resurrection that he had been a dry tree."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator for whom I have not found anyone who wrote his biography.

Busr bin Sa'id narrates: Abu Juhaym sent me to Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) so that I could ask him about the person who passes in front of someone praying. He said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "If the one who passes in front of someone praying knew how much sin he incurs, standing for forty years would be better for him than passing in front of him (the one praying)."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih. Ibn Majah also recorded it, but he did not narrate the word "years" (kharif).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: If any one of you is able to ensure that no one passes in front of him (while he prays), let him do so, for the one who passes in front of someone praying is more deficient than the one in front of whom he passes.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
