بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يَمُرُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْمُصَلِّي .

وَعَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ : أَرْسَلَنِي أَبُو جُهَيْمٍ إِلَى زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ أَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ الْمَارِّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْمُصَلِّي فَقَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " لَوْ يَعْلَمُ الْمَارُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْمُصَلِّي مَاذَا عَلَيْهِ ، كَانَ لَأَنْ يَقُومَ أَرْبَعِينَ خَرِيفًا خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَمُرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ غَيْرَ قَوْلِهِ : " خَرِيفًا " .

Busr bin Sa'id narrates: Abu Juhaym sent me to Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) so that I could ask him about the person who passes in front of someone praying. He said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "If the one who passes in front of someone praying knew how much sin he incurs, standing for forty years would be better for him than passing in front of him (the one praying)."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih. Ibn Majah also recorded it, but he did not narrate the word "years" (kharif).
