Sayyiduna Abu Jum'ah Habib bin Siba' (may Allah be pleased with him), who was one of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the Maghrib prayer, having forgotten the Asr prayer. He said to his Companions: "Did you see me offer the Asr prayer?" They said: "No, O Messenger of Allah!" So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded the mu'adhdhin, and he called the adhan, then he called the iqamah, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the Asr prayer. He annulled the first prayer (that is, treated it as void) and then offered the Maghrib prayer.
Ahmad recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, in whom there is weakness. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Hadiths about calling the adhan for missed prayers will come later in the relevant chapter, if Allah wills.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever forgets a prayer and then remembers it while he is with the imam (offering another prayer) should complete his prayer, then make up the prayer that he forgot, and then repeat the prayer that he offered with the imam."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Awsat; its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), except that al-Tabarani's shaykh, Muhammad bin Hisham al-Mustamli, is a different matter: I have not found anyone who mentions him.
