بَابُ الْحُكْمِ بِطَهَارَةِ الْأَرْضِ .

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ - قَالَ : كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَلَا نَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ مَوْطِئٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We used to pray behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and we would not repeat ablution (wudu) because of (filth) that came under our feet.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - لَا يَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ مَوْطِئٍ .
