بَابٌ فِي الْإِيمَانِ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ .

عَنْ زَيْدٍ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ ، عَنْ مَوْلًى لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " بَخٍ بَخٍ ، لِخَمْسٍ ، مَا أَثْقَلَهُنَّ فِي الْمِيزَانِ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ، وَالْوَلَدُ الصَّالِحُ يُتَوَفَّى فَيَحْتَسِبُهُ وَالِدُهُ " . وَقَالَ : " بَخٍ بَخٍ ، لِخَمْسٍ ، مَنْ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ مُسْتَيْقِنًا بِهِنَّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ : يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَالْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ وَالْبَعْثِ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَالْحِسَابِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Zayd Abu Sallam narrates this from a freed slave of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How excellent are five things! How heavy they are in the Scale: saying La ilaha illallah, saying Allahu Akbar, saying Subhan Allah, saying Alhamdulillah, and a righteous child who dies (in childhood) and whose father hopes for reward over him." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also said: "How excellent are five things! Whoever presents himself before Allah Almighty with certainty in them will enter Paradise: (that is, a person who) believes in Allah Almighty, the Last Day, Paradise, Hell, being raised again after death, and the Reckoning."

وَعَنْ عُمَرَ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْخَطَّابِ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " مَنْ مَاتَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ قِيلَ لَهُ : ادْخُلْ مِنْ أَيِّ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ الثَّمَانِيَةِ شِئْتَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِهِ شَهْرُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ .

Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) states that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever dies in a state where he believes in Allah Almighty and the Last Day, it will be said to him: Enter (Paradise) by whichever of the eight gates of Paradise you wish!"
