Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 9834

In one narration the words are: The people were crowding around him. I did not see anyone saying anything, while he did not stop speaking.
Ahmad and his son recorded it. Al-Tabarani recorded something similar in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and in abridged form in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat with various chains. One of the chains of Abdullah bin Ahmad has narrators who are thiqat (trustworthy). One route of this report will come in the chapter on the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) presenting himself to the tribes.
